Silhouettes...hand developed vintage floral prints combined with vintage stripes and polka dots give this collection a an embodiment of strength, peace and tranquility...using British summer florals, combined with war time images, silhouettes and nostalgic ephemera to create bespoke embellished pieces which echo the sorrow, loss, strength, community spirit, victory and peace...

.....This is the beginning of a selection of pieces which combine mixed media drawings, embroidery, collage and embellishment....all are handcrafted with unique charms and labels...the originals are numbered for their uniqueness, however embellished print versions are also available...the prints are also hand embellished with jewels and embroidery with bespoke charms and labels....these can be also customised to display certain imagery and chosen text, quotes, or names....

Jardiniere develops.....

This project developed last year in the form of sketchbook work, and my interest in architecture....the plan was to develop into small artworks of a personal nature, and this is progressing into personalised pieces starting with a piece inspired by my home and street...

However before this gets started I wanted to visualise these sketchbook pages as large canvases....to see if they could still capture the essence of the smaller ones....as I was redecorating, I thought the first should adorn my newly decorated wall....

had the opportunity recently to explore and experiment with mixed media and leather....combining print, embellishment and manipulation....exploring colour to create fabulous pieces which developed into bespoke handcrafted Christmas decorations....

This then developed into manipulated print and ideas for jewellery....
